![]() ![]() another thing I'd need to check is the minimum delta between a drill diameter and the according pad diameter. ![]() Generally, I think the design rule check setup is a little confusing. There are other parameters as minimum silk line width and minimum text width, but as these are not (easily) changable in DipTrace anyway, they're not so important. There doesn't seem to be an option to change this. my current PCB manufacturer demands a minimum clearance of 0,2mm between silk and pads. while it is possible to check "silk over pads", it seems impossible to define a minimum clearance. Maybe I'm missing something again, but it seems the design rules check is not able to check some of the restrictions I need to fulfill to get a correct PCB.Į.g. So it would be nice to have the ability to invert a text box in the component editor (so that the rectangle becomes copper and the text is defined by the absence of copper). It would look nicer though if the text was composed of "missing copper" if you know what I mean. when you have a large copper pour on the bottom and still want to place some revision text or whatever in the copper, the current situation is that the text is in copper and there is a rectangular gap of missing copper which again is surrounded by the copper pour. One last thing I noticed is the inability to invert text on the PCB. While it's ok that they all have the same default size, it would be nice to have the possibility to change the font size of markings at least on component/pattern level. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but there seems to be little control of font sizes e.g. Also for larger patterns, the lack of panning makes the ability to zoom somewhat pointless. There is a manual zoom via listbox, but this seems more like a workaround. When controlling the assigned pattern in the schematic and component editor, it would be extremely helpful to have the normal panning (right mouse) and zooming (mouse wheel) control in the pattern view (also on the component side of course). ![]()
